Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled
meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on January 8, 2008, this Executive
Session was called to consider a Personnel matter.

PERSONNEL
The Village was awarded the SAFER (Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response)
grant through SLGCP (the State and Local Government Coordination and Preparedness) in the
amount of $527,000. This grant is funded through the Department of Homeland Security and will
be used to hire five (5) firefighters.
