WELLINGTONORDINANCE NO. 2570 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A HEIGHT VARIATION AND A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE TO PERMIT THE INSTALLATION AND OPERATION OF A FIFTY (50') FOOT OUTDOOR WARNING SIREN AT THE CHARLES J. ZETTEK MUNICIPAL COMPLEX, 901 WELLINGTON AVENUE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE WHEREAS, the Plan Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals at a joint public hearing duly called and held according to law considered the question of a Special Use Permit and a variation of the thirty-five (35') foot height requirement to permit the relocation of a fifty (50') foot outdoor warning siren from its present location in the Municipal Complex parking lot to an alternative location - either Well Site #3 or such other location which is deemed appropri- ate; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having reviewed the finding of fact of said Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals as well as a review of the Plan Commission finding of facts from hearings held in 1992, find and believe that it is in the best interest of the Village to grant a Special Use Permit to the Village of Elk Grove and a variation of Section 8-2:1) of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the installation and operation of a fifty (50') foot outdoor warning siren at the Southwest corner of the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Complex Building. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a Special Use Permit to the Village of Elk Grove and a variation of Section 8-2:1) of the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to the height of structures to permit the installation and operation of a fifty (50') foot outdoor warning siren to be located at the Southwest corner of the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Complex Building, inside the screened electrical equipment area on the South side of the Building. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: i PASSED this 24th day of June , 1997.
