HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2573 - 7/8/1997 - ZONING VARIATION/1513 WM CLIFFORD LNORDINANCE NO. 2573 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTIONS 3-6:D.2 AND 7-1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE PERTAINING TO REQUIRED SIDE YARDS TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A DETACHED ACCESSORY STRUCTURE (GARAGE) WHICH WOULD ENCROACH APPROXIMATELY FIVE (5') FEET INTO THE REQUIRED EIGHT (8') FOOT SIDE YARD AND BE LOCATED CLOSER THAN SIX (6') FEET TO THE SIDE PROPERTY LINE ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1513 WILLIAM CLIFFORD LANE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (MEIER) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village, at a pub- lic hearing duly called and held according to law considered the granting of a variation of Sec- tions 3-6:D.2 and 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance pertaining to structures and required side yards to permit the construction of a detached garage which would encroach five (5') feet into the required eight (8') foot side yard and be located closer than six (6) feet to the side property line on pro- perty located at 1513 William Clifford Lane and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees after having considered the recommen- dation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to warrant the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3-6:13.2 and Section 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance as they pertain to structures and required side yards in and R-3 zoned district to permit the construction of a detached accessory structure (garage) which would encroach approximately 5.0 feet into the required 8.0 foot side yard and be located closer than 6.0 feet to the side property line on property located at 1513 William Clifford Lane, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: Lot 29 in Block 4 in Elk Grove Village Section 19, being a Subdivision in Section 36, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, accord- ing to the Plat thereof recorded in the Recorders Office of Cook County, Illinois, on August 6, 1973 as Document #22426695, in Cook County, Illinois Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
