HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2578 - 7/22/1997 - LIQUOR LICENSES, AMEND CODEORDINANCE NO. 2578 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3-1-8 OF THE VILLAGE CODE BY PROVIDING FOR A 508 REFUND OF A LIQUOR LICENSE FEE FOR ESTABLISHMENTS WHICH CEASE OPERATION WITHIN THE FIRST FOUR MONTHS OF A LICENSE YEAR NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois as follows: Section 1. That Paragraph A. of Section 3-1-8 Renewal and Replacement of Licenses of the Village Code be amended by adding thereto the following sentence: With respect to Liquor Licenses, any licensee who has renewed a liquor license and who ceases to do business during the first four months of any license year, shall receive a refund of 508 of the license fee paid for that license year. Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0 PASSED this 22nd day of July , 1997.
