AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 7, CHAPTER 2, WATER AND
SEWER USE AND SERVICE, SECTION 7-2-8 B. 2, PROHIBITED
ACTS AND CONDITIONS OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE
OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 7-2-8 B. 2 of Title 7, Prohibited Acts
and Conditions of the Village Code, be amended to read as follows:
2. It shall be unlawful for any person to tamper with,
turn on or damage in any manner any fire hydrant
located in the Village
Any person violating the provisions of this subsection
B2 shall be subject to a fine of not less than fifty
dollars ($50.00) nor more than five hundred dollars
($500.00) for each offense.
Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication according
to law.
