AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2325 ESTABLISHING
ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION FOR POLICE SERGEANTS ATTENDING
COURT ON THEIR OFF-DUTY DAYS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That any Police Sergeant of the Village of Elk
Grove Village who is required to appear in court on a matter of Village
business while off-duty shall receive, as additional compensation, the
flat -rate stipend of One Hundred and Ten Dollars ($110.00). Such
stipend shall only be granted once per off-duty day.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after August 12, 1997 and upon its passage and approval
according to law.
