HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2602 - 10/28/1997 - SPECIAL USE AMENDED/OAKTON/LIVELYORDINANCE NO. 2602 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2527 BY PERMITTING A ONE HUNDRED TWENTY (120) FOOT PERMANENT MONOPOLE ANTENNA STRUCTURE ON PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF OAKTON STREET WEST OF LIVELY IN ELK GROVE VILLAGE WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village, acting as a Zoning Commission, previously considered the application for a Special Use Permit of AT&T to permit the construction and installation of a temporary and a permanent monopole antenna structure one hundred twelve (112) feet in height; and WHEREAS, AT&T, as a result of an engineering study, have determined that a one hundred twenty (120) foot structure is necessary and a hearing before the Plan Commission was held concerning such eight (8) foot increase; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation of said Plan commission find and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village that the amended Special Use Permit be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 2527 be amended so that and pursuant to Section 8-2:1). of the Zoning Ordinance an amended Special Use Permit be and the same is hereby granted to AT&T Wireless Services, Inc. to permit the construction of a temporary monopole 1 antenna structure and thereafter a permanent monopole antenna structure, which structures shall not exceed one hundred twenty (120) feet in height, on property located North of Oakton Street and West of Lively Boulevard, Elk Grove Village and legally described on Exhibit A attached hereto. The amended Special Use Permit is subject to the requirement that the location of the permanent monopole shall be as set forth in a final Site Plan for the antenna and the concrete equipment storage shelter associated therewith, which equipment shelter is included in the granting of this Special Use Permit. The Site Plan is subject to review by the Plan Commission. Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
