AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE POSITION CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY
PLAN OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLA -E (POLICE OFFICER)
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village is a Home Rule
Municipality as authorized and set forth in the Constitution of the
State of Illinois and as such, authorized to enact certain legislation
pertaining to its local government affairs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DUPage, Illinois, in exercise of its Home Rule authority as follows:
Section 1: That the Position Classification and Salary Plan, be and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows:

TEMPORARY•
Police Officer 77 1 78
The added temporary position will terminate
upon the retirement or resignation of a Police
Officer, returning to the authorized strength
of 77 Police Officers.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
