A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING ANNEXATION FEES; FEES FOR REVIEW OF
CERTAIN DOCUMENTS; AND FEES FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS HELD BEFORE
THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES, PLAN COMMISSION AND ZONING
BOARD OF APPEALS OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois as follows:
Section 1: All applicants for annexation of property to the Village of Elk Grove Village
shall pay an annexation fee in accordance with the following schedule:
1. Annexation agreement with no zoning changes for property zoned and utilized for
residential - $10.00 per acre or $500.00, whichever is greater.
2. Annexation with zoning change and/or non-residential use - $300.00 per acre.
Section 2: That the Mayor and Board of Trustees do hereby authorize a fee schedule for
review of documents as follows:
1. Plats of Subdivision - $100.00 plus $10.00 per lot and recording fees as required by the
County Recorders of Cook and DuPage Counties.
2. Conceptual site or land use plan review:
0-5 acres
- $100.00
5-10 acres
- 200.00
10-15 acres
- 300.00
15-20 acres
- 400.00
20 + acres
- 500.00
Section 3: That the Mayor and Board of Trustees do hereby authorize a fee schedule for
public hearings held before the Mayor and Board of Trustees, Plan Commission and Zoning
Board of Appeals as follows:
1. Rezoning Hearing
2. Special Use Hearing
3. Zoning Variation
Residential
Business and
Industrial
$150.00 Filing Fee
250.00 Court Reporter Deposit
$150.00 Filing Fee
$250.00 Court Reporter Deposit
$75.00 Filing Fee
plus costs incurred over the $75.00
$150.00 Filing Fee
$250.00 Court Reporter Deposit
4. Public Hearings

Section 4: In addition to above established fees, the petitioner shall be required to pay
any additional charges or expenditures incurred by the Village including but not limited to
court reporter and publishing fees.
Section 5: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect form and after its
passage and approval according to law.
Section 6: All Resolutions previously adopted with respect to annexation and hearing
fees are hereby rescinded.
Section 7: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval according to law.
