Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on July 7, 2020, this Executive Session was called
to consider review of Litigation.

The Village Attorney advised that work is continuing on the appraisal for the former Elk Grove
Motel outlot. The appraiser is still working on the appraisal —he is working with the attorney for
the owner, who is difficult, but has turned over some documents to provide a valuation of the
worth of the business. Mayor Johnson requested that the appraiser should be replaced if he
cannot complete the appraisal by the end of next week. The Village Attorney indicated that it is
important that the appraisal of the business will hold up in court —this has been requested by the
attorney working on the Village's behalf for the condemnation.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:35 pm.
