Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on August 11, 2020, this Executive Session was
called to consider review of Litigation.

The Village Attorney provided an update on the annexation lawsuit with Gullo. The Village has
filed a lengthy answer to the complaint, with exhibits showing the entire process of the efforts
leading to the involuntary annexation, dating back to 2011. The Village is hoping for a favorable
ruling from the judge on the Village's upcoming motion for a judgement on the pleadings.
