Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on September 8, 2020, this Executive Session was
called to consider review of Land Acquisition.

The Mayor sought authorization from the Village Board to proceed with land acquisition of 1550
E. Higgins. This parcel of property is adjacent to the former Elk Grove Motel site. The Village
Board provided authorization to pursue land purchase of up to $3.25 million from the Busse -
Elmhurst TIF District. It is anticipated the purchase price will be less than $3.25 million.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:52 pm.
