Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on September 22, 2020, this Executive Session was
called to consider review of Litigation.

The Village is going to file a motion for judgment on the pleadings with regard to the Gullo
involuntary annexation litigation. The attorneys for Gullo will have the opportunity to respond,
and no timeline has yet been agreed to for the briefing schedule. The attorneys for Gullo are
pushing for a status hearing before the judge and the attorneys working on behalf of the Village
believe that a motion based on the pleadings would be advantageous for the Village.
