AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING 15.8 ACRES (SLOUGH PROPERTY)
TO THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE PER ANNEXATION
AGREEMENT (PROPERTY ZONED I-1 UPON ANNEXATION PER
ELK GROVE VILLAGE ZONING ORDINANCE AND COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN,
WHEREAS, a written petition requesting annexation has been
filed with the Village of Elk Grove Village by Pullman Bank and
Trust Company as Trustee under Trust No. 71-80971, dated May 21,
1971; and
WHEREAS, an annexation agreement dated December 26, 1973 has
been entered into between Pullman Bank and Trust Company, Trustee
under Trust No. 71-80971, dated May 21, 1971, Slough Parks, In-
corporated, a Delaware Corporation, and the Village of Elk Grove
Village, providing for the annexation of the hereinafter described
property, in accordance with the said agreement, which agreement
is hereinafter referred to as "The Agreement"; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate
limits of the municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of
Elk Grove Village, and has no electors residing thereon; and
WHEREAS, notice has been given to the Elk Grove Rural Fire
Protection District ten days in advance of taking action, in ac-
cordance with the Statutes made and provided, of the Village's
intent to annex said property; and
WHEREAS, the President and B(ia rd of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village, counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, have ex-
amined and executed said agreement and believe it to be in the best
interests of the Village that said land and territory be annexed
thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, as follows:
Section 1: That the land and territory shown and legally
described in the attached Exhibit A, vhich exhibit is incorporated
Mein by reference and made a part of this ordinance, which land
is contiguous to the Village and not within the limits of any
municipality, be and is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove
Village, in accordance with "The Agreement" , so that hereafter
said territory shall be included within the boundary lines and limits
of said Village.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk
Grove Village is directed to record a certified copy of this
ordinance, together with an accurate plat of said territory, with
the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval, according to
law.
