HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1700 - 2/12/1985 - ANNEXING &REZONING- CRANE-FORESTERORDINANCE NO. 1700 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING AND REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE CRANE -FORESTER WHEREAS, a written Petition has been filed with the Village Clerk of Elk Grove Village by Timothy A. Busse, Owner of Record, and CRANE -FORESTER, Joint Venture, Contract Purchasers, of the hereinafter described land and territory, said Petition being for annexation to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, and has no electors residing thereon; and WHEREAS, all applicable provisions of the Illinois Revised Statutes pertaining to annexation and requisite notice therefor have been complied with and adhered to; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of,Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois after having examined said Petition to annex find and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village that said land and territory be annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village and be zoned as an I-1 Industrial use, including the special uses incorporated therein;• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Coun- ties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That the land and territory described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein, which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, and is not within the limits of any municipality, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village. Section 2: That said property shall, upon annexation, be zoned I-1 Industrial, in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan of the Village of Elk Grove Village so that hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary lines and limits of said Village of Elk Grove Village, as is by law in such cases made and provided. Section 3: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this Ordinance together with an accurate Plat of Annexation of said territory with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois and is further directed to amend the boning Map of the Village in accordance with the provi- sions hereof and to file such Notice of Annexation as is required by law. Section 4• That the annexation of the property herein is subject to the condition that the Village grant a Special Use Permit to the owners permitting the use of a hotel as a Special Use in an I-1 Restricted Industrial District. Section 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and -2- publication accc consummates the title and shows contract purcha a six (6) month Ordinance shall Drding to law, provided the contract purchaser purchase of the subject property and takes the Village evidence thereof.
