AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 490 BENNETT ROAD AND 500
BENNETT ROAD FROM I-1 INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT TO THE INNOVATION AND
TECHNOLOGY CENTER DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission, acting as a Zoning Commission, at a Public Hearing duly
called and held according to law, considered the petition from Bridge Development Partners to rezone
properties located at 490 Bennett Road and 500 Bennett Road, Elk Grove Village from the I-1 Industrial
District to the ITC (Innovation and Technology Center District); and
WHEREAS, The Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after
considering the recommendation and findings of said Plan Commission find and believe it to be in the
best interest of the Village that said properties be rezoned as recommended by the Plan Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the properties at 490 Bennett Road and 500 Bennett Road be and the same are
hereby rezoned from I-1 Industrial District to the ITC (Innovation and Technology Center District) and
hereafter be subject to all of the conditions and regulations of the ITC District.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to amend the zoning map of the Village to
reflect the rezoning as adapted herein.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval according to law.
