AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 6, CHAPTER 6, SECTION 6-6-8,
RULES FOR USE OF VILLAGE PARKS OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF
THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as
follows:
Section 1: That Title 6-3-8 B Skateboards Use Prohibited of the
Village Code be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the
following:
3. In any designated tennis court area in any
public park in the Village.
Section 2: That Title 6, Chapter 6, Section 6-6-8 Rules for Use
of Village Parks is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
F. Skating & Bicycling - No person shall skateboard,
rollerblade or bicycle within any designated tennis
court area in any public park in the Village.
PENALTY: Any person violating this provision shall be
subject to a fine of not less than $1.00 nor more than
$25.00 for each offense, and a separate offense shall be
deemed committed on each day during or on which a
violation occurs or continues.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
