AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE
VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE, SECTION 6-4-1,
TURNING MOVEMENTS AND SECTION 6-4-5-3 PROHIBITED
AND RESTRICTED AREAS (WEST GLEN TRAIL/CHRISTA COURT)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois,
as follows:
Section 1: That Section 6-4-1 Turning Movements, Section B. No Left
Turns be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
7. No operators of any motor vehicle shall make a
left turn from southbound West Glenn Trail on
to Borman Court (north intersection) Monday
through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 A.M.
to 9:30 A.M., and 2:30 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.,
on school days.
8. No operator of any motor vehicle shall make a
left turn from southbound West Glenn Trail on to
Christa Court Monday through Friday, on school
days, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M.,
and 2:30 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. (except Christa Court
residents).
Section 2: That Section 6-4-1 Turning Movements, Section D, No
Right Turn be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the
following:
NORTHBOUND ON WEST GLEN TRAIL onto Christa Court
between the hours of eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. and
nine -thirty o'clock (9:30) A.M., and two -thirty
O'clock (2:30) P.M. and four o'clock (4:00) P.M.
(except Christa Court residents.)
Section 3: That Section 6-4-5-3, Prohibited and Restricted Areas,
of the Village Code be and the same is hereby amended by removing therefrom
reference to Christa Court.
Section 4: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish
this Ordinance in Pamphlet Form.
Section 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.

PASSED this 8th day of August 1995.
