AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3-6:D.1 OF
THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
FIREPLACE THAT WOULD EXTEND 1.85 FEET INTO THE REQUIRED
EIGHT (8') FOOT SIDE YARD ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT
898 DEBRA LANE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (CLAUSEN)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly
called and held according to law considered the question of grant-
ing a variation of Section 3-6:D.1 of the Zoning Ordinance to per-
mit the construction of a fireplace that would extent 1.85 feet
into the required eight (8') foot side yard on property located
at 898 Debra Lane, Elk Grove Village and legally described herein-
after; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustee after having re-
viewed the findings and recommendation of said Zoning Board of Ap-
peals find and believe that suffcient hardship exists so as to
justify the granting of said variation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3-6:
D.1 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of a fire-
place that would extend approximately 1.85 feet into the required
eight (8') foot side yard on property located at 898 Debra Lane
and legally described as follows:
Lot 104 in Parkview Heights Subdivision, being a Sub-
division in the Northeast Quarter of Section 26, Town-
ship 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
