AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 4-3-1:B TO
REDUCE THE NUMBER OF REQUIRED PARKING SPACES IN A RETAIL
AREA BY 23 FOR PROPERTY LOCATED ON BIESTERFIELD ROAD EAST OF
WELLINGTON AVENUE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (GULLO DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly
called and held according to law considered the question of grant-
ing a variation of Section 4-3-1:B of the Zoning Ordinance of the
Village to permit a reduction of required parking spaces by 23 for
the Gullo Shopping Center; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation and
finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that suf-
ficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said varia-
tion.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 4-3-
1:B of the Zoning Ordinance to reduce the number of parking spaces
in a retail area by 23 for the Gullo Shopping Center located on
Biesterfield Road, East of Wellington Avenue and legally described
as follows:
The West 442.5 feet (as measured along the South line
on the North 15 acres of the Northwest , of the North-
east a of Section 32) of the Northwest ; of the North-
east k (except the North 15 acres thereof) of Section
32, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Prin-
cipal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois, except for
that part used or dedicated for Biesterfield Road, and
that part taken for Road in Case 71 L 15920
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
