AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 7, CHAPTER 2,
SECTION 7 WATER USE RESTRICTIONS
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois. as
follows:
Section 1. That Title 7, Chapter 2, Section 7-2-7:A.1.
Residential Users and Section 7-2-7:A.2. Industrial, Commercial and
Institutional Uses of the Village Code of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Residential Users: All residential property
owners shall be permitted to use water for any
outdoor purpose between the hours of five o'clock (5:00) p.m.
and ten o'clock (10:00) p.m. on Monday through Friday and
all day Saturday and Sunday.
Industrial, Commercial and Institutional Uses:
All industrial, commercia and institutional property
occupants shall be permitted to use water for any outdoor
purpose between the hours of nine o'clock (9:00) a.m. and two
o'clock (2:00) p.m. Monday through Friday and all day
Saturday and Sunday.
Section 2. That Title 7, Chapter 2, Section 7-2-7:B Effect of
Use Restrictions of the Village Code of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Effect of Use Restrictions: The restrictions on
the use of water for outdoor purposes shall be
effective from May 1 through September 30 of
each year.
Section 3. That the national holidays of Memorial Day,
Independence Day, and Labor Day are exempted from the restrictions set
forth in this ordinance.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according
to law.
