HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2455 - 10/24/1995 - ZONING VARIATION/2080/2100-2140 LUNTORDINANCE NO. 2455 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTIONS 3-6:D AND 7-1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE AS THEY PERTAIN TO STRUCTURES IN REQUIRED SIDEYARDS TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A STRUCTURE IN THE REQUIRED SIDEYARDS THAT WOULD LINK TWO BUILDINGS AT PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 2080 E. LUNT AVENUE AND 2100-2140 E. LUNT AVENUE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (CHARLES D. COLE, JR.) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly called and held considered the question of granting a variation of those provisions of the Zoning Ordinance pertaining to struc- tures in a required sideyard to permit the construction of a struc- ture which would link two buildings at properties located at 2080 E. Lunt Avenue and 2100-2140 E. Lunt Avenue; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having considered the finding and recom- mendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation, subject to the conditions set forth in the findings of the Zoning Board of Appeals. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sections 3-6:D and 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance as they pertain to structures in required sideyards in the I-2 Zoning District to permit the construction of a structure in the required sideyard linking two buildings at property located at 2080 E. Lunt Avenue and 2100-2140 E. Lunt Avenue subject to the following conditions: A. The construction of the building link will follow all guidelines set forth by the Fire Department of the Village of Elk Grove Village. B. In the event that one of the two properties are sold to a third person, then and in that event the exist- ing owner of the property will remove the link and restore the area to a condition acceptable by the Village. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. PASSED this 24th day of October , 1995.
