HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2459 - 11/14/1995 - ZONING VARIATION, 1458 WM CLIFFORD LNORDINANCE NO. 2459 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3-6:D.1 AND 7-1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A COVERED PORCH WHICH WOULD ENCROACH 2.26' INTO THE REQUIRED 25' FRONT YARD FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1458 WILLIAM CLIFFORD LANE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (BEAM) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3-6:D.1 and 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance as they pertain to structures in the required front yard area to permit the construction of a covered porch which would encroach 2.26' into the required front yard; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sections 3-6:D1 and 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of a covered porch which would encroach 2.26' into the required 25' front yard on property located at 1458 William Clifford Lane, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: Lot 7 in block 4 in Elk Grove Village Section 19, being a Subdivision in Section 36, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE: AYES 6 NAYS 0 ABSENT 0 PASSED this 14th day of November , 1995.
