AN ORDINANCE ISSUING A CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORITY TO AMERICAN
PRIVATE CAR TO PERMIT THE ISSUANCE OF A PUBLIC PASSENGER
VEHICLE DISPATCHER LICENSE FOR DISPATCHING OF LIVERY VEHICLES
IN THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, sitting as a Public Vehicle Commission, con-
sidered the Petition of American Private Car, which Petition re-
quested the issuance of a Certificate of Authority authorizing
a Public Passenger Vehicle Dispatcher License to operate within
the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, the Public Vehicle Commission having heard evidence
and testimony and being advised by the owner of American Private
Car that said company would comply with all applicable Village
Ordinances and Codes pertaining to the operation of a public pas-
senger vehicle dispatcher, including the requirement for a cen-
tral office with a twenty-four (24) hour dispatch service, find
and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village to issue
said Certificate of Authority as requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That a Certificate of Authority be and is hereby
issued to American Private Car for the issuance of a Public Pas-
senger Vehicle Dispatcher License to dispatch livery vehicles with-
in the Village of Elk Grove Village, subject to compliance with
all applicable Village Codes and licensing regulations as set forth
in Title 3, Chapter 7 of the Village Code of Elk Grove Village.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.

PASSED this 8th day of February 1994.
