HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2376 - 6/28/1994 - ZONING VARIATION, 912 CHRISTA CTORDINANCE NO. 2376 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTIONS 3.54A AND 5.1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO STRUCTURES WITHIN THE REQUIRED REAR YARD TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A DECK AND SPA ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 912 CHRISTA COURT, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (KEENAN) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of grant- ing a variation of Sections 3.54A and 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance as they pertain to structures within the required rear yard to permit the construction of a deck and spa that would encroach in the required rear yard on property located at 912 Christa Court, and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sections 3.54A and 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance as they pertain to struc- tures within the required rear yard to permit the construction of a deck and spa that would encroach seven (7') feet into the re- quired twenty (20') foot rear yard on property located at 912 Christa Court, and legally described as follows: Lot 13 in Fairmont Estates, being a resubdivision of Lot 5206 in Elk Grove Village Section 17, being a Sub- division in Sections 25 and 36, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
