AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO MASTER MOTORS INC.
TO PERMIT AN AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR FACILITY IN AN I-1 INDUSTRIAL
ZONED DISTRICT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
1280 HOWARD STREET, ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Vil-
lage, sitting as a Zoning Commission, at a public meeting duly
called and held according to law considered the question of grant-
ing a Special Use Permit to Master Motors Inc. to operate an auto-
motive repair facility in an I-1 Zoned District; and
WHEREAS, the Petitioner at said public meeting advised the
Plan Commission that the facility would be limited to mechanical
work and no painting or body work would be conducted on the site.
In addition, the Petitioner would provide thirteen (13) storage
spaces properly screened and three (3) employee parking spaces
and would otherwise be in full compliance with applicable Village
Codes; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village after having considered the finding and re-
commendation of said Plan Commission find and believe it to be
in the best interest of the Village that said Special Use Permit
be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DUPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a Special Use Permit to
Master Motors Inc. to operate an automotive repair facility in
an I-1 Industrial Zoned District for property located at 1280 Ho-
ward Street, Elk Grove Village, subject to the following condi-
tions:
A. That no painting or automobile body repairs be per-
formed on the site.
B. That the screening and parking be in accordance with
the screening/parking plan on file in the office of
the Village Clerk.
C. That the Special Use Permit, herein granted, shall
automatically terminate on June 28, 1996 unless re-
newed pursuant to an Ordinance by the Village of
Elk Grove Village.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
