HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2391 - 10/25/1994 - ZONING VARIATION, 97 KESWICKORDINANCE NO. 2391 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 5.23G2(a) OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE LOCATION OF A SOLID FENCE INTO THE REQUIRED TEN FOOT SETBACK ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 97 KESWICK, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (STARR) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section 5.23G2(a) of the Zoning Ordinance to permit a solid fence seven feet into the required ten foot setback on property located at 97 Keswick Road and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the Judiciary Planning and Zoning Committee of the Village of Elk Grove Village at a public meeting considered the findings and recommendation of not granting the variation by the Zoning Board of Appeals; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees after having reviewed the recommendation and finding of both the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Judiciary Planning and Zoning Committee of the Village find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to grant the variation as requested. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 5.23 G2(a) of the Zoning Ordinance to permit a solid fence that would encroach seven feet into the required ten foot setback on property located at 97 Keswick Road and legally described as follows: Lot 3260 in Elk Grove Village Section 10, being a Sub- division in Sections 28, 29, 32 and 33 all in Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meri- dian, in Cook County, Illinois Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
