AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPHS 1, 2 AND 4 OF TITLE 3,
CHAPTER 7, SECTION 3-7A-5: D. OF THE VILLAGE CODE THEREBY
AMENDING THE RATES CHARGE FOR TAXI CAB SERVICE WITHIN
THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page, Illinois
as follows:
Section 1: That Paragraphs 1 and 2 of Title 3, Chapter 7, Section
3 -7A -5:D. Established Rates and Charges of the Village Code of the Village
of Elk Grove Village be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
1. Two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) for the first mile
or fraction thereof.
2. Twenty ($0.20) cents for each succeeding one-eighth of
a mile or a fraction thereof.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish
this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
upon its passage, approval and publication according to law.
