AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FROM THE OFFICIAL CODE
TITLE 7, CHAPTER 2, SECTION 7-2-7 A, PARAGRAPH 1 WATER
USE RESTRICTIONS - RESIDENTIAL USERS (VILLAGE ON THE
LAKE)
Whereas, the Village on the Lake Homeowners' Association
petitioned the Village for a variation from the Official Code Title 7,
Chapter 2, Section 7-2-7 A, Water Use Restrictions, paragraph 1,
Residential Users due to their being unable to contract with a
landscaping service to provide lawn maintenance during normal evening
hours; and
Whereas, the President and Board of Trustees upon consideration of
the petition find a sufficient hardship does exist.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois
as follows:
Section 1. That there be granted a variation from the Official
Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village Title 7, Chapter 2, Section
7-2-7 A. Water Use Restrictions, Paragraph 1. Residential Users, to
permit Village on the Lake to use water for outdoor purposes, Monday
through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and all day Saturday and
Sunday during the outdoor water restriction periods of April 1, through
October 1.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
