AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 5.23 G2(a) OF
THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SOLID
FENCE ENCROACHING SEVEN (71) FEET INTO THE REQUIRED TEN (10')
FOOT SETBACK ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT
649 E. ELK GROVE BOULEVARD, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (MESH)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public hearing duly
called and held according to law considered the question of grant-
ing a variation of Section 5.23 G2(a) of the Zoning Ordinance to
permit the construction of a solid fence within the ten (10') foot
setback area on property located at 649 E. Elk Grove Boulevard,
and legally described hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees after reviewing
the findings and recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals
find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify
the granting cf said variation, contrary to the recommendation
of the said Zoning Board of Appeals.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cock
and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section
5.23 G2(a) of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove
Village to permit the construction of a solid fence encroaching
seven (7') feet into the required ten (10') foot side property
line area, between the edge of the house and the rear property
line on property located at 649 E. Elk Grove Boulevard and le-
gally described as follows:
Lot 1753 in Elk Grove Village Section 6, being a
Subdivision in the East Half of Section 33, Town-
ship 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Prin-
cipal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
