AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3.54A AND
SECTION 5.1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A DECK AND PORCH IN THE REQUIRED TWENTY (20')
FOOT REAR YARD SETBACK FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
1849 MAINE DRIVE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (FLANAGAN)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly
called and held according to law considered the question of granting
a variation of Sections 3.54A and 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance to
permit the construction of a deck and porch that would encroach
approximately six (6') feet into the required twenty (20') foot
rear yard setback at property located at 1849 Maine Drive, Elk
Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village after considering the recommendation and
finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that suf-
ficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said
variation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1; That there be granted a variation of Section
3.54A and Section 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the con-
struction of a deck and porch that would encroach approximately
six (61) feet into the required twenty (20') foot rear yard set-
back at property located at 1849 Maine Drive, Elk Grove Village
and legally described as follows:
Lot 66 "Plat of Resubdivision No. 5 for a Portion
of Winston Grove Section 23B" being Subdivision of
Part of Section 26, Township 41 North, Range 10
East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook
County, Illinois
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
