HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2310 - 7/13/1993 - LIQUOR LICENSE, CLASSIFICATION AMENDEDORDINANCE NO. 2310 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 3, CHAPTER 3, SECTION 3-3-6:CLASSIFICATION OF LICENSES OF THE VILLAGE CODE. OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE (LIQUOR) NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois, as follows: Section 1: That Title 3, Chapter 3, Liquor Control, Section 3-3-6: Classification of Licenses is hereby amended to read as follows: CLASS A LICENSE - which shall authorize a restaurant to sell alcoholic liquor at retail for consumption on the premises specified, as incidental or complementary service to the sale of food. A restaurant is hereby identified as an establishment whose primary use is the sale of food for consumption on the premises. CLASS B LICENSE - which shall authorize the sale of alcoholic liquor for consumption off premise, in retail liquor package goods stores, drug stores and retail food stores, which retail food store must have a minimum of 20,000 sq. ft. of floor area. Section 2: The Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form. Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
