AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE POSITION CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY
PLAN OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE (POLICE SERGEANT)
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village is a Home Rule
Municipality as authorized and set forth in the Constitution of the
State of Illinois and as such, authorized to enact certain legislation
pertaining to its local government affairs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois, in exercise of its Home Rule authority as follows:
Section 1: That the Position Classification and Salary Plan, be
and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
AUTHORIZED POSITIONS
PERMANENT TEMPORARY TOTAL
TOTAL
POLICE DEPARTMENT MAY 1, 1993 ADDED AUGUST 19,1993

*Denotes temporary supervisor position which will lapse on August 6,
1993 at which time the authorized Sergeant's positions will revert back
to fourteen (14).
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
