AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION FOR
POLICE SERGEANTS ATTENDING COURT ON THEIR OFF-DUTY DAYS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That any Police Sergeant of the Village of Elk
Grove Village who is required to appear in court on a matter of Village
business while on an off-duty day shall receive, as additional
compensation, the flat -rate stipend of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00).
Such stipend shall only be granted once per off-duty day.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after October 11, 1993 and upon its passage and approval
according to law.
Votes: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1
