AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 2, CHAPTER 10, SECTION 2,
COMMUNITY SERVICE BOARD, OF THE VILLAGE CODE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as
follows:
Section 1: That Chapter 10, Section 2-10-2, Qualifications, be
amended to read as follows:
Qualifications: No person shall be appointed
to tt e Board unless he has demonstrated a
sustained interest in community service or has
had professional training in said field or a
related field. Members of the Board shall reside
in Elk Grove Village unless otherwise provided for
by the Village President and Board of Trustees.
Section 2: That Chapter 10, Section 2-10-3, Organization, be
amended to read as follows:
Organization: At the April Board Meeting of
each year, the Board shall meet and elect a
Chairperson, Vice -Chairperson and Secretary
who shall serve as such from May 1
until the last day of April of the
succeeding year or until a successor is
duly elected. The Board shall appoint such
committees as it may deem necessary.
Section 3: The Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish this
Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.
