AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO PERMIT THE
OPERATION OF A TRUCK TERMINAL IN AN 1-2 INDUSTRIAL ZONED
DISTRICT (KRUSINSKI CONSTRUCTION COMPANY -1800 NICHOLAS
BLVD.)
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission, sitting as a Zoning Commission, at a
Public Hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of
granting a Special Use Permit to permit the operation of a truck terminal on
property located at 1800 Nicholas Boulevard, Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Plan
Commission find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the
granting of said Special Use Permit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage,
Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That a Special Use Permit be granted to Krusinski
Construction Company to permit the operation of a truck terminal in an I-2
Industrial Zoned District, for property located at 1800 Nicholas Boulevard, Elk
Grove Village.
Section 2: That the Special Use Permit is subject to the following
conditions:
1. Petitioner shall install wheel stops or in the alternative Pullin the
curbing to prevent damage to property.
2. If fencing is installed, the small strip of land on the north end of
the property be covered with a weed barrier and stone.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval according to law.
VOTE. AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT. 0
PASSED this 16t' day of December, 2003.
