AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORITY TO MY
CHAUFFEUR LIMOUSINE SERVICE TO PERMIT THE ISSUANCE OF A
PUBLIC PASSENGER VEHICLE DISPATCHER LICENSE IN THE VILLAGE
OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, sitting as a Public Vehicle Commission, considered the Petition of My
Chauffeur Limousine Service, which Petition requested the issuance of a
Certificate of Authority authorizing the issuance of a Public Passenger Vehicle
Dispatcher License within the Village of Elk Grove Village, and
WHEREAS, the Public Vehicle Commission, having heard evidence and
testimony and being advised by the owner that said company would comply with
all applicable Village Ordinances and Codes pertaining to the operation of a
public passenger vehicle dispatching service, find and believe it to be in the best
interest of the Village to issue said Certificate of Authority.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage,
Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That a Certificate of Authority be and is hereby issued to My
Chauffeur Limousine Service to authorize the issuance of a Public Passenger
Vehicle Dispatcher License within the Village of Elk Grove Village, subject to
compliance with all applicable Village Does and licensing regulations as set forth
in Title 3, Chapter 7 A. et. seq. of the Oficial Code of the Village of Elk Grove
Village.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval according to law.
VOTE: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0
PASSED this 13TH day of January, 2004.
