AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE POSITION CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY
PLAN OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE (POLICE OFFICER)
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Gra e Village is a Home Rule
Municipality as authorized and set forth in the Constitution of the
State of Illinois and as such, authorized to enact certain legislation
pertaining to its local government affairs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois, in exercise of its Home Pule authority as follows:
Section 1: That the Position Classification and Salary Plan, be
and the same is herebv amended to read as follows:

*Denotes position only for participation in Northwest Suburban Auto
Theft Task Force. If and when funding is no longer provided by Illinois
Motor Vehicle Theft Council, position will be eliminated through normal
attrition.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
