AND SECTION 5.1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A ROOM ADDITION WHICH WOULD ENCROACH FIVE (5') FEET INTO THE REQUIRED TWENTY (20') FOOT REAR YARD ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1852 MAINE DRIVE, ELIC GROVE VILLAGE (BUCREL) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3.54A and Section 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance as they pertain to structures in the rear yard to permit the construction of a room addition which would encroach approximately five (5') feet into the required twenty (20') foot rear yard on property located at 1852 Maine Drive, Elk Grove Vil- lage and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having reviewed the findings and recom- mendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a five (5') foot variation of Sections 3.54A and 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance as same pertain to structures in the rear yard to permit the construction of a room addition which would encroach approximately five (5') feet into the required twenty (20') foot rear yard on property located at 1852 Maine Drive, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: Lot 89 Plat of Resubdivision No. 5 for a portion of Winston Grove Section 23B being a subdivision of part of Section 26, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1 PASSED this 23rd day of June 1992.
