HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2250 - 6/23/1992 - ZONING VARIATION/1598 TEXASORDINANCE NO. 2250 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 5.23 G.2.(a) OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE AS IT PERTAINS TO SOLID FENCES ON CORNER LOTS TO PERMIT THE INSTALLATION OF A SOLID FENCE IN THE REQUIRED CLEARANCE AREA ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1598 TEXAS STREET, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (BREYMEYER) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section 5.23 G.2.(a) of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the installation of a solid fence which would encroach into the ten (10') foot required clearance along the street side property line on property located at 1598 Texas Street, Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having reviewed the finding and recom- mendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 5.23 G.2. (a) of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of a solid fence which would encroach ten (10') feet in the re- quired clearance area along the side street property line on pro- perty located at 1598 Texas Street, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: Lot One in Block Ten in Winston Grove Section 21, being a Subdivision in the East Half of the South- west Quarter and the West Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 25, Townhship 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this Ordinance be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. PASSED this 23rdday of June 1992• APPROVED this 23rdday of June 1992.
