HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2255 - 7/14/1992 - ZONING VARIATION/2500-10 AMERICAN LNORDINANCE NO. 2255 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3.94 I OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO PARKING SPACE WIDTH IN THE I-2 ZONING DISTRICT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2500 - 10 AMERICAN LANE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (McLENNAN) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3.94 I of the Zoning Ordinance to permit a'reduction of the width of parallel parking stalls on the North side of property located at 2500 - 2510 American Lane, Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals as well as the recommendation of the Fire Department find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation on the North side of the property. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3.94 I of the Zoning Ordinance to permit a reduction in the re- quired width for parallel parking stalls in an I-2 Industrial District to permit parking stall widths varying from 7.27 feet to 7.40 feet on the North side of property located at 2500 - 10 American Lane, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: Lot 27 in Ken Gundersen Subdivision in Devon -O'Hare Industrial Park Unit No. 2, being a Subdivision of the South 120 feet of the North 1030 feet of the West 230 feet of the East 1340 feet of the Northeast Quar- ter of Section 2, Township 40 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in DuPage County, Illinois, according to the Plat of Subdivision re- corded February 19, 1968 as Document Number R68-6213, in DuPage County, Illinois. Subject to the condition that parking be prohibited on the South side of said property. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. PASSED this 14th day of , 1992. APPROVED this 14th day of July , 1992.
