AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5.42 B OF THE ZONING
ORDINANCE BY ADDING THERETO PRE-SCHOOL AND DAY CARE
FACILITIES AS A PERMITTED USE
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove
Village at a public meeting duly called and held according to
law considered the question of amending Section 5.42 B of the
Zoning Ordinance to permit pre-school and day care facilities
as a Permitted Use in the B-1 Business District; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation
of the Plan Commission find and believe it to be in the best in-
terest of the Village that the Zoning Ordinance be so amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 5.42 B Permitted Uses in the B-1
Business District be and the same is hereby amended by adding
thereto pre-school and day care facilities as a Permitted Use.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
