HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2262 - 8/25/1992 - ZONING VARIAITON/774 BONITAORDINANCE NO. 2262 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3.54 B OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT A STORAGE SHED IN THE REQUIRED SIDE YARD SETBACK AREA ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 774 BONITA AVENUE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (RODE) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3.54 B of the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to the use of yards for accessory structures to permit a storage shed which would be located closer than sixty (60) feet to the front lot line; encroach within the required side yard setback; and be closer than six (6) feet to the side lot line for property located at 774 Bonita Avenue and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having reviewed the recommendation and findings of said Zoning Board of Appeals are of the opinion that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3.54 B as it pertains to the use of yards for accessory structures to permit a storage shed to be located closer than sixty (60) feet to the front lot line; encroach within the required side yard set- back; and be closer than six (6) feet to the side lot line on pro- perty located at 774 Bonita Avenue, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: Lot 1516 in Elk Grove Village Section 4, being a Subdivision in the South half of Section 28 and the North half of Section 33, both in Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meri- dian, in Cook County, Illinois. This variation is subject to the reinstallation of a fence to screen the shed from view of the adjacent street. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1 PASSED this 25th day of August 1992.
