AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTIONS 3.54A AND 5.1
OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN
ATTACHED WOOD DECK ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT
660 BRANTWOOD AVENUE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (CHAPEK)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a public hearing
duly called and held according to law, considered the question
of granting a variation of Section 3.54A and 5.1 of the Zoning
Ordinance as they pertain to permissible locations for attached
accessory structures, to permit the construction of an attached
wood deck that would encroach approximately seven (7) feet into
the required twenty (20) foot rear yard at propert located at
660 Brantwood Avenue, and legally described hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees after having
considered the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board
of Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so
as to justify the granting of said variation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sections
3.54A and 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance as they pertain to permis-
sible locations for attached accessory structures, to permit the
construction of an attached wood deck that would encroach approxi-
mately seven (7) feet into the required twenty (20) foot rear
yard for property located at 660 Brantwood Avenue, and legally
described as follows:
Lot 3107 in Elk Grove Village Section 10, being a
Subdivision in Sections 28, 29, 32 and 33, Township
41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
