HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2273 - 10/27/1992 - ZONING VARIATION/BIESTERFIELD RDORDINANCE NO. 2273 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 5.23 G.2.(a) AND SECTION 5.1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE AS THEY PERTAIN TO PERMITTED LOCATIONS FOR SOLID FENCES ON CORNER LOTS AND DIMENSIONS OF REQUIRED INTERIOR SIDE YARDS TO PERMIT THE INSTALLATION OF A SOLID, BOARD -ON -BOARD, WOOD FENCE DIRECTLY ON THE SIDE LOT LINE FRONTING BIESTERFIELD ROAD IN THE FAIRMONT ESTATES SUBDIVISION, ELK GROVE VILLAGE , THE FAIRMONT GROUP, INC. WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village at a public hearing duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Sections 5.23 G.2.(a) and 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance as they pertain to permitted locations for solid fences on corner lots and dimensions of required interior side yards to permit the construction of a solid, board -on -board, wood fence located directly on the side lot line fronting Biesterfield Road and ahead of the front building setback lines on Lots 10 and 11 of said Subdivision and to permit a fence directly on the side lot line fronting Biesterfield Road on Lot 18; and, to permit an 11.24 foot interior side yard on Lot 10 and a 10.33 foot interior side yard on Lot 11 on property lo- cated on the Southeast corner of Biesterfield Road and West Glenn Trail and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustee of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village to grant said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sections 5.23 G.2.(a) and 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the con- struction of a solid, board -on -board wood fence to be located directly on the side lot line fronting Biesterfield Road and ahead of the front building setback lines on Lots 10 and 11 and to permit a fence directly on the side lot line fronting Biesterfield Road on Lot 18 of said Subdivision and to permit an 11.24 foot interior side yard on Lot 10 and a 10.33 foot interior side yard on Lot 11 for property located on the Southeast corner of Biesterfield Road and West Glenn Trail and legally described as follows: Fairmont Estates Subdivision being a Resubdivision of Lot 5206 in Elk Grove Village, Section 17, being a subdivision in Sections 25 and 36 of Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meri- dian, in Cook County, Illinois Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
