AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 3, CHAPTER 9, SECTION
3-9B-12 OF THE VILLAGE CODE HALLOWEEN SOLICITATION
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois
as follows:
Section 1: That Section 3-9B-12 - Halloween Solicitation of Title 3,
Chapter 9 of the Village Code be and the same is hereby amended to read as
follows:
B. Soliciting Restricted: It shall be unlawful for any
person, whether alone or in a group, to conduct such
solicitation as set forth in subsection A of this
Section on any day other than October 31; provided
further, that all solicitation on October 31 shall not
commence prior to one o'clock (1:00) p.m. and be
terminated by seven o'clock (7:00) p.m.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
