HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2202 - 11/26/1991 - ZONING VARIATION/1872 ORIOLE DRORDINANCE NO. 2202 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3.54A OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE EXISTENCE OF AN EXISTING DECK IN THE SIDE YARD AREA ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1872 ORIOLE DRIVE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (HILL/WITTER) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village, at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3.54A of the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to the use of side yard areas to permit the existence of a wood deck on property located at 1872 Oriole Drive and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3.54A of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the existence of a wood deck which encroaches four (4) feet into the required eight (8) foot side yard at property located at 1872 Oriole Drive and legally described as follows: Lot 357 in Stapes Subdivision, being a subdivision of part of the Northeast a of Section 35, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meri- dian, in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE: AYES: 4 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 2 PASSED this 26th day of November 1991.
