AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14.204, ONE-WAY AND TWO-WAY
STOP INTERSECTIONS, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE
OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois
as follows:
Section 1: That Section 14.204, One-way and Two-way Stop
Intersections, of the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village
be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:

STOP STREET- LOCATION
Old Mills at Park
Talbots at Park (south intersection)
Talbots at Park (north intersection)
Section 2: Any person firm or corporation violating any of the
provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than
Twenty-five ($25.00) Dollars nor more than Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars
for each offense.
Section 3: The Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish this
Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.

SUBJECT: Regulatory Signage
I have been contacted by the Talbots Mill Homeowners Association reference
to regulatory signs at their intersections. The Association expressed a
concern reference the lack of stop signs at Old Mills and Park, Talbots and
Park, both the north and south intersections.
Given the makeup of Park Boulevard and the development with the fences and
hills, there is a line of sight problem. For the purpose of both
pedestrian safety and the safety of the motoring public, the following
amendments to Article 77, Section 14-204, is recommended.
ARTICLE II
14.204 amended "One -Way, and Two -Way Stop Intersections" to include;
