HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2209 - 1/28/1992 - ZONING VARIATION/65 KESWICKORDINANCE NO. 2209 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3.54 B OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT A STORAGE SHED IN THE REQUIRED SIDE YARD ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 65 KESWICK ROAD, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (O'DEA) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3.54 B of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the existence of a storage shed which would encroach four (4') feet into the required five (5') foot side yard on pro- perty located at 65 Keswick Road, Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3.54 B of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the existence of a stor- age shed in the required side yard on property located at 65 Kes- wick Road, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: Lot 3160 in Elk Grove Village Section 10, being a Subdivision in Sections 28, 29, 32 and 33, Town- ship 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Prin- cipal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois Section 2: That the granting of the variation is subject to the condition that the Village shall retain its right of full use and access to said easement, if necessary, at any time in the future which shall include the right to remove the shed from the easement area with no obligation to replace or relocate the storage shed back on the easement area but shall be required to restore the easement area to its existing state by the use of seed and minimal grading. Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0 PASSED this 28th day of January 1992.
