HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2213 - 2/11/1992 - ZONING VARIATION/1221 LANDMEIERORDINANCE NO. 2213 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTIONS 3.96-C(1) AND 3.96-D(3) OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE THEREBY DECREASING THE NUMBER OF REQUIRED PARKING SPACES ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1221 LANDMEIER ROAD, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (KURIYAMA OF AMERICA, INC.) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly called and held according to law considered the questions of granting a variation of Sections 3.96-C(1) and 3.96-D(3) as they pertain to parking space requirements for warehouse and office use for pro- perty located at 1221 Landmeier Road and legally described herein- after; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after considering the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sections 3.96-C(1) and 3.96-D(3) of the Zoning Ordinance to permit a de- crease in the number of required parking spaces from 109 to 72 for the existing building and a proposed addition on property lo- cated at 1221 Landmeier Road and legally described as follows: Lot 405 in Centex Industrial Park Unit 252, being a Subdivision in the South half of Section 27, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1 PASSED this llthday of February 1992.
